My profile say April 9, 2010, that's when I registered.

I never actually started on July 29, 2010.

Hmmm . . . I just went and looked how many are blocked . . . I counted EIGHT and I have never had a chess game with them . . .

I checked my friends list and  it's only FIVE . . .

stats_man

HA! And I am one of them Denver High.

ozzie_c_cobblepot

How do you know?

stats_man

The same way one knows these things in general.

Not my first, won't be my last.

 not one of what ?

checkmateibeatu
Not one of those which have more blocks than friends.
kco

Find that hard to believe cause there were alot Bongcloud voters there that you had to blocked.

checkmateibeatu
I have 25 friends and 17 blocks, 15 of which were Bongcloud voters.
checkmateibeatu
Sorry, not all 15 of them were Lenny Bonhcloud voters, I think some of them were just downright jerks in my eyes.

Hey Stat_man!

I wonder why you are one of them?

I just got a new friend . . . How about that . . . I now have SIX friends. The list is growing. Maybe by the weekend I just might have as many as are on my blocked list . . . Maybe more . . .

Automatic blocker what a great idea. Try it!

"YOU'RE ARE", sounds redundant and very ungrammatical.

Suggestion:  repeat High School (perhaps, choose a better one).

Egads, one of the problems with being a visible titled player is the sheer number of friend requests I get. Eventually I stopped replying to every one, and I must now have over 200 pending.
sftac

'friend' requests are an entirely other matter.  there is no site limit to how many friends you may acquire, some have thousands (I imagine).

To make such a list meaningful, you could delete the bunch of them monthly, except for the ones that consistently re-apply.

Just testing to see if you can quote someone who blocked you.

If it worked, then I would suggesting adding to the block figure the inability to quote the blocker by the blockee.

TheGrobe

Why stop there -- they should simply become persona non sum to you and visa versa.

You can't see threads they've started in
You can't see posts they've posted
You can't see posts they've been quoted in
You can't see games that they've played in
You can't even see their profile
Finally, if you get matched up with them in a tournament or a team match the whole match should immediately cease to exist

Done and done.

Jerks in your eyes?  You should probably get those checked out.

Fixed that for you.

@Post 199- That is just asking for abuse. If someone wanted to block someone and then start a thread talking trash about them, it is already bad because they blockee can't defend himself on that thread, but at least he knows about it and can make another thread and have a friend advertise that thread. But with those proposals, the blockee wouldn't even be able to see that stuff, so all that would be going on completely behind his back. Way too risky.
TheGrobe

Jeeze, we wouldn't want anyone to abuse the block feature, would we?

Besides, setting aside the fact that I was being facetious (and in fact, believe that blocks shouldn't apply to the forums in the first place) the blockee wouldn't even see it, and the blocker would know they wouldn't see it, so the motivation to pull that crap in the first place would be removed.
