My only issue is these companies like chess.com using inflation as a reason to up the prices. But the last 8 years when inflation was super low they didn't use that as an excuse to lower prices. So when inflation gets back to 2 percent which the fed wants, will chess.com lower the prices? Or is it just a one way street of price raises?

Yes, chess.com is/was free. Not like the owner paid for it. Why would they pay for it anyway?
