The experience has been getting worse and worse after I joined in 2022. 2022 very good amazing. 2023 first half of the year was good December 2023 very bad. 2024 even worse. I do not know why chess.com give a poorer quality in terms of experience now?

Seriously though, this site used to be a lot better back in the day when you didn’t have to pay for everything. Of course, they didn’t have all the features they had now like assisted analysis and bot opponents.
It does suck that they have succumbed to that to the capitalist mindset. Refusing to invest any kind of effort into their mobile users experience is also pretty stupid considering that we’re a user base that is only guaranteed to expand.
Like so many other companies they will eventually be destroyed by their decisions to value profit above else. At least the C-levels and investors got rich though. After all, isn’t that what really matters?

I totally agree with you this is a very obvious for profit company.

What are you even on about? Of course it's an "for profit company" - most companies are. And it's not like Chess.com is pretending to be a non-profit and tricking people into thinking that they are. What is the problem with that? Is it that you believe there should not be any for-profit organisations and everything should be provided to you free of charge?

Seriously even if you buy membership you still get a bad playing experience worse if you play a cheater it is just best to abort the game because chess.com never refunds you for losing against a cheater nowadays

Asking you to pay for something is not bad: if you don't like the service they're selling, stop paying for it and go elsewhere and tell them why you're going elsewhere. It's not a monopoly where you have no other options. If you continue to pay them for something you don't like, who is being dumb here? If you log a Support ticket, they'll even refund you the amount of any future premium membership that you haven't yet used - you don't have to be locked in for the rest of the year. Constructive feedback on how they can improve their product will help them understand whether they need to price their product more competitively, balanced against the need to cover the costs they are incurring. I agree that some companies are predatory and should be fined and/or regulated, but Chess.com is not one of them.

When I didn't have membership, I thought you can do like 10 puzzles a day by watching adds or something. Did they take this away?

You could watch ads and the last time I remember doing this to get more puzzles was like late 2022 to early 2023 I think they removed this feature some while ago but I am not sure

Why do you assume they're "lining their pockets" and NOT sending the money on improving their website or the services they offer or indeed trying to grow the game overall and attract new people and young people to the game? They're paying more than 30 people on their fair play team. They've bankrolled things like the POG Champs and Speed Chess Championship. They're constantly releasing new bots. They were first with Puzzle Rush - that wouldn't have existed without Chess.com taking a punt on it, and it's not something that lichess would have worked on without the demand for it emerging out of nowhere.

David is right.

When you go out to eat at an establishment do you dine and ditch or do you pay the bill.Sure you might punish the waitstaff by not tipping but you're still paying the bill. It's up to you if you want to keep going back to the same establishment. If you want free chess play on another site or compete at an actual in person event since you have an impressive rating.

I don't know but lately chess.com is lagging heavily. It's not fault of my internet connection as I have double checked this fact by playing on other chess site side by side with the same connection. It feels kinda bad when you lose by timeout in a winning position in hyperbullet and bullet tournaments specially. Hope you will do something about it....
