It's a lie. Chess is not newbie friendly game. People playing like 20+ years create a new accounts for smashing noobs like me just for fun. 0 good advices, 0 friendly spirit - chess is similar to dota 2 in terms of the number of toxic players and friendly environment.

tbf there are hundreds of accounts closed every week, both free and premium, titled or untitled. It's just not that easy as there are literally thousands of cases to investigate. as Yoda said, patience you must have, young padawan! Keep using that report button, the team investigates cases as fast as humanly possible.

Toxic players (cheaters, laggers, switch-laggers, sandbaggers, etc.) are a curse. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of thousands of this jungle around online chess. But yes, human beings are very disappointing, they enjoy cheating and misleading others instead of being polite and useful.
Sounds like a classic case of just losing

Lately I’ve been seeing so many threads on why there are so many cheaters and why chess.com sucks and how everyone is so toxic. I’ve been on here for a full year and I rarely come across cheaters, toxic players, and etc. I honestly think most people are just tired of losing and will never be satisfied. Who knows though, maybe it’s just me.
