I thought of a cool feature, that would probably be easy enough to do. Make it where we can make and award our own trophies, instead of just the generic ones. I think that would be pretty cool.
I know you award custom trophies to winners of tournaments, so chess.com is at least halfway there.

like a bundle pacage? say you dont care about vacation time for online chess because you only play live you just want to get unlimited tactics trainer and more game analisis, i dont no maybe........

the live chess sparring mode (with takebacks)
This feature should allow you to issue custom challenges in which you:
1. set up a board (legal position, specify which side has the move, if castling is still allowed)
2. choose a side
3. Issue the challenge (open or closed)
This would allow us to play basically any legal position against anyone. Of course ratings wouldn't really make sense in such a mode, but it would be brilliant to practice endgames and though positions with friends. (much like the computer workout but more fun because you have a human opponent).
With takebacks it would also be the ultimate coaching mode!
(perhaps it would be best to completely seperate the sparring mode from regular live chess? I wouldn't know - that's tech talk).
On the live update well how about this? The server cut out and now I got a gaem that says resume or whatever but the other guy was loisng so he won't expect my challenges so there should be a way to just get rid of these type of things and besides. On the update just don't keep showing resume at the top forever and ever. Another thing is thin. Put a folder in were we could hide bad games away form display!!!

Two more suggestions/requests
1. Something to better prevent spammers from spamming the forums. If this means limiting the # of forums one is able to start per given time period, then so be it.
2. The abiliy to start games with a handicap. That way, I can play games against my friends who are rated lower than I am and the game will still be competitive.

could you make a no vacation option on regular games as well as team matches?
since there's already no vacation on tournaments, this should be possible
Variable vacation caps would be better than strictly offering a "no vacation" option, but I agree that it would be good outside of just tournaments. I think in conjunction with some of the other clock types that have been discussed you could do a lot to ease some of the frustrations around game (and in particular, tournament) durations.
