Does anyone know if the chess.com live chess rating system is harsher than other places. I was playing a live chess match against a person rated around 1490 on the free internet chess server and I was able to beat that person easily. My live chess rating on chess.com only hovers around 1050. So is the chess.com ratings lower than the ratings from other, raters?
