He's mild compared to others here, both past and present.  I suggest every new member meets Macer at the door to the forums, like the official mascot of chess.com. He could stand as gate keeper and give directions to either dead threads, or threads on fire.

He actually used to do that, quite successfully, with his troll of the month contests.

IDK about Troller, that just sounds like we're calling macer a perpetual Troll! There was a good Beiber?! WHEN?!

Musically, good Bieber is the one we have now (or at least that's what I think; some people seem to diagree for some reason Tongue Out). Before Believe came out I thought his music was horrible, but after it did I became a fan, which I would say is pretty remarkable considering that most of the other music I listen to is hip hop.

Thanks RJC! I would describe myself as someone who generally dislikes authority but doesn't try to cause trouble (although I don't exactly go out of my way to avoid trouble either).

@ mosai: You mean you actually clicked on the links to the threads that people were nominated for? That's great! I had the impression that most people voted based on their impressions of the candidates alone, without looking at the actual threads.

Really? To a 2 week old thread? Look, it's clever but come on. Maybe a 2 month old thread would be more like it!

I have to agree there. But, then again I like tons of genres. I like hip hop too! I know you're a big Eminem fan, I kind of am, I listen to the clean versions XD. Do you like any Christian hip hop? I love Lecrae.

macer75

Actually no, I haven't listened to any Christian hip hop. But I'll check out some songs by this Lecrae guy and see what it's like. I mostly listen to mainstream hip hop (YMCMB, Eminem, Kanye...).

Two weeks is old news. If I can't remember what I had for breakfast on that day, it's too old. This can be made up for if you have something relevant or interesting to add to the thread. Sadly he did not.

Phelon

Btw it wasn't @ you AtC97

Yep, I know it wasn't me! But he was responding to comments about him so give him a break! XD

I have been here over 2 years and never had an trouble with Macer, yet I have went around with others who were zealous little trolls...

skakmadurinn

No, I think the average chess.com citizen just plays live chess and don't even know about the forums. I just played live chess here my first year. Then I saw how many awsome things are here!

Unless you're talking chess rating, I don't think there is such a thing.

samtoyousir

Haha, pretty much nothing special there... I don't have any more ideas so I think this is pretty much covered!

SebLeb0210

Well, Its good that you check out the forums Cool

samtoyousir

Any new ideas since this was posted?? I'm in a writing mood.

Ben_Dubuque

I'm a Timelord, I always seem to have more time at the end of a game than when I start.

samtoyousir

Whoah! Maybe you should play without increment. XD But you're rare, and I don't think think that it can define you. Thanks for the idea though!
