Of course, angrybirdstar. I'll post it here so its safe. I can trust everyone here not to tell a soul!
Chess.com users should be REQUIRED to use REAL NAMES.
So I have to share my name because the OP gets scammed?? What a load of BS.
Anonimity is a great gift. Never give any money away to people you don't know.
Over the past few months I have been having an on going conversations with several people from southeast Asia. There attention was kind and fun at first, I welcomed the friendly banter and looked forward to seeing their messages in my inbox. Over a period of weeks and hundreds of messages we got to know each other quite well. As a fairly well off individual myself when one began to discuss some personal family problems I happily agreed to help them a little financially. I guess they saw me for the sucker I was and over a few months I wound up sending over 20 bitcoins to in total to three different individuals. Only now I realize when I was left standing at Boryspil airport waiting for one of my friends to come visit on a plane ticket that I had paid for that I have been scammed! I meet these “ladies” on chess.com and I think we need a policy here that forces people to be under their true legal name. This would prevent the sort of fake people I have been dealing with from existing and keep the out of control children in line and perhaps we could report them to their parents. We need a “VERIFIED” tag next to user names like Twitter so we know who we can trust and their true ages and locations. Anonymity of the internet is horrible. Send no one bitcoins! Keep the children here responsible.
Scammed 20 bitcions (1 bitcoin = 5121.87 USD).......... I think this is out of chess.com authority and this should be reported elsewhere..... If I where you I'd be finding a way to make up for that lost money rather than saying people should reveal their identity this site. Hope you somehow get that resolved.
And my mother works at Stuckey's, yep, she drives the rusty old Subaru with the Salt Life sticker. Tramp stamp mania.

So because you got scammed, that means that everybody should be required to use their real name on chess.com? Why should your poor decision making in any way affect anybody other than you?
I feel bad that you were taken advantage of. That's unfortunate. But it doesn't mean that I feel bad for you.
There may be actions that you can take in order to seek justice. Contacting the FBI may be one of them. I'm not sure as I have no experience in this. But seeking to change the chess.com policy concerning anonymity is not justice. It's bitterness.
It's your mistake.
Lol Tigerwoodie do u play golf ?
I am golf. How can you go wrong with lots of holes and rich white folk?

I feel very bad for you but Chess.com can not make sure people use their real name. Sorry, I wish I could help.
Bobby_Joey Are you related to Ricky Bobbie ?
You can't use your REAL name here because Eric doesn't want to piss off the NASCAR crowd. Lake Speed
Dick Trickle
Starting in 2016, we WILL have to use UFC names
I will become, RON "the hit man" Cote. Or we could start using mob names
like Tommy 2 times. Or Joey bag of donuts.
This is a horrible idea. Without anonymity we can fall victim to any weirdo out there. I am circa 13( I will not give my real age but im in this general area) And i swich which country it says im from once per month. The internet is full of bad people who would happily kidnap and kill someone-its best to stay anonymous
good point. my entire family and all my friends were killed by anonymous internet happy-kidnappers.
Im guessing you are a troll however this cernario is a bit more realistic then you might think..adjust tinfoil

Hehe, tkbunny! You made sure to keep secret when the stolen name was potty trained, though, right?
