Vladimir had been putin' a lot of effort into his chess recently, which is why he won the Candidates wildcard election. Things started promisingly but years do not pass in vain, and at 65 he has to behave more calmly to achieve his aims. He was a bit arrogant in his latest interviews, claiming his new missiles put him in an "already better position". This has not helped his case, but with work and humility Mother Russia can recover.
Congratulations to Vladimir Putin!

President Putin had a lot of help from those who were oppressed by tyrants and now are loving the freedom he has given them! It will be a glorious following six years for all Rus' and the world!
Putin has become quite rich off the Russian people, no? I guess they wouldn't know, since he dictates their news networks and other media. I hear arrest for dissent is common is Russia.
We have term limits here in the US, to prevent such authoritarian rule.
How can the people be informed if the press is not free to run investigations and make publications concerning corruption in government and industry? How can democracy function under such conditions?
