Hover your mouse over that area. If your background is different than the default it may just be hard to see.

I use the Developer's version of Firefox (essentially two versions ahead of the general release) and the arrows are there.

I just tried again and can't see the arrows...Firefox 43.0.4 on Windows 10.

Tried it with the Edge browser and it worked, but still no joy with Firefox.

Also can't see the flip board button.

Hey all so is this V3 thing a must that we have to use or we can stay as we are... ? Does anyone knows.

It is optional right now while still being worked on but this is the transition period. V2 will be gone when it has been determined that V3 is completely ready. So I advise getting to know it as you can so as not just put into it without any knowledge of the new interface :) Cheers & Good Luck

thank u...

Tried it with Safari on my iMac. Got a warning about an old browser on the main page and a lot of errors. I cannot even file them as bug, because the bug reporting function is not working on the main page.

Are the Mac users not welcome any more?

Thanks, I was using theme wood and it was too light to see the arrows.  I dislike dark themes.   I changed to a dark theme and I can see them now.  Is there anyway to have contrasting lettering to go with the lighter themes?

Some web developers don't seem to fully understand or appreciate the concept of contrast.  That is, the darkness vs lightness of the background vs forground elements on the webpage and how this effects ease of viewing.

Dark foreground elements on dark background or light foreground with light background are difficult to view.  Generally is is better to use lighter background (e.g., pastels) with darker foreground elements for contrast.  This is the principle behind books using black print on white paper!

I'm not terribly thrilled about the draw and resign buttons as they are, either. Both should be clearly visible. Furthermore, the resign button icon could be misinterpreted... a flag is often used elsewhere on the web as an icon for reporting abuse/spam, for example. And the draw button icon just doesn't really look like anything. I suppose it's meant to be a handshake, but it's not clear enough that I'd necessarily notice that.

I haven't used V3 yet; this is just what I've gathered from the screenshots I've seen.

Have you tried Chrome for the Mac. I hear it works with the Mac. Hope that helps :)

Won't try Chrome on whichever operating system as it means to pay with your privacy. From a security point of view it is like delivering all your sensible data directly to the NSA.

Apple may not be trustworthy either. But Google is definitely worse.

use chromium, its chrome but without the creepy google shit

I love King of the Hill... its basically the best variant ever... funny thing is I've had challenges open from between 900 and 2200 and I cant get a game... Since version 3 launch, I've probably searched for a total of 5 hours or so...

The time control I've search at is 1 minute, 2 minute, and 3 minute

Same problem here Rabbitiswise, that's why I challenge those on my friends list instead

Lichess is miles ahead of V3.

lichess seems to be great at flooding online forums with an army of trolls. That's a real contribution to the game.

Rabbitiswise711

despite all the buggy stuff...  The new TT is legit... good job chess.com

The Son of Sorrow is often considered to be the weak d6 pawn in the Benoni Defense

I made a forum with competitions for each chess variant in an attempt to make it easier for players to find someone to play against. If your interested, you can find the competitions in the link below:
