Its a good point Bill. A loyalty discount each year is a good idea. I get this type of thing with my breakdown cover on my car, also on my mobile phone service. Just paid my renewal so maybe next time hey

Should there be a discount on the fees that Chess.com charge us?
I dont mean as soon as you sign up!. But, what if the powers that "B" gave a discount after being a member after an agreed amount of years.
OR, what about a free upgrade to the next level after so many years. That way they dont lose revenue on the level that you are on at the moment, but we dont have to pay more for the upgrade? If you are at the top level after an agreed amount of years....then you deserve a discount as there is no higher level for you to go to!
I have no idea if members leave after one year ? I have equally no idea if another load of chess players join in so that the numbers look good all the time.
I wonder if the membership would increase year on year,if they new that this upgrade or discount was on offer in the future!
