Do you resign as soon as you lose the queen?

Nah, i keep playing.

Just to see if my opponent will give up first.

If all else fails, force a queen trade, so that losing the queen won't be an issue.

You should only play on if you feel like there is some way to salvage the position, for example, an active pair of bishops and a rook, or some kind of pair of pieces that would be able to force a disadvantageous position for the opponent.

No because i have played many games where i lost my queen did not resign and created a tatic to fork the queen and another piece and i win the queen and they resign because of it and idc what you say never resign even if you are in a horrible position.

If all else fails, force an equal endgame, so that losing the game wont be an issue.

The difference between a growing strong player and a player who cant progress anymore is that one will agree with this and another won't.

I blame mr Shaibel for the resignation epidemic.

i dont blunder my queen but if for some reason i did then yeah i resign

The blunder here isn't hanging your queen. The blunder is resigning, because your odds of winning after you resign is 0%. If you keep playing, you have a higher chance of victory. Overconfidence is a real thing!
