Don't know if its been mentioned, but how about improved statistics for the player's personal profile page. Info perhaps graphicaly displaying opening moves and their frequency would be very interesting to me. Perhaps accompanied by an option to make private?

when someone challenges another player to a game, I'd like to see the challenge displayed in such a way that the challenge has been made. (bolder letters, the word "challenge" appears on top of the page; just some way that you know right away that the challenge has been made.
I'd be interested in having more game timing options. In addition to 1, 2 or 3 days per move, how about an option for game/30, game/60, etc. I was originally going to request adding an hours value per move but realize that could lead to extraordinarily long sessions if you didn't want to forfeit a match...
Thanks for providing the site, I've really come to enjoy chess.com and appreciate all of you and your staff's hard work!
What I've noticed is that when you search something in the site you've got the option to choose between some categories, like members, aritcles, blogs, news, but not videos: that makes looking for a specific video very difficult.
Couldnt be possible to add that category for the search tool?
I think it would be good if the "most recent posts" box was extended to include the previous 10 . Or even it would be good if it had its own page. Now that there is a lot more activity in the forums, threads often get blasted out the back end before they really get seen.
In the 'Most recent posts' section of the forum page, could you make a button to go directly to the last post rather than having to go to the first page and then find it. The 1st page often has a diagram and can take a while to load. Its a minor point. Thanks
A feature I would really like to see is the ability to talk directly to other members when they are on line. It would be much better than using messages, email or having to play a game in order to chat.

Yeah, live chat is on the list of things being worked on I believe. But right now the programmers are hard at work on the final stages of the live chess. I am sure after the live chess is developed that will be at the top of the list of things to do.
Although, maybe with live chess comes live chat also. Or maybe I am getting too greedy..

Here's something I find mildly annoying, but since nobody's ever mentioned it that I know of, maybe I'm the only one who does.
When you click on "view post" (under the Last Post column on the main Forum page) the window opens to the first posting of the topic, not the last posting. So, then you have to navigate to the last posting. Since I have a dial-up connection, it's probably more tedious for me than for most, but even so, it seems illogical, particularly since the column clearly states: Last Post.
