Do you get an advantage for accepting them as opposed to having your opponent accept them ?
My question isn't a rhetorical accusation. I can see how an unreciprocal relationship can be annoying. I just don't know much about it.

I thought their name popped up frequently, so now I know why. It'll be interesting to see if they respond here. Does seem odd behavior.
We have sent them the exact same matches that they sent us before; they didn't accept them, which is odd and foolish.
Do you think maybe they're using some sort of bot to send out requests? This way they hardly do anything but wait for a response.

There can be, but we dont look for an advantage with them. We have set team matches definitely not in our favor, and they still dont accept. We have sent their exact matches as requests from us, and they dont accept. It is ridiculous.
They sent my free video lessons group a thematic challenge. I refuse all those. I want my team playing openings they wish to play, not some random opening they may never see again. I challenged back with regular chess and they refused. Oh well, they can challenge us any time to real chess.
How can doing the requesting create an advantage ? Please give me an example...
An example which doesnt apply to me:
When a team of 1000+ challenges a team of 47 to a team match, 3 days, open rating, 1-30 players.
This is unfair because ratings while the 1000+ team will have ratings of 1800+ playing the other team will only have one that high playing, and most way below that.
I recall them spamming so much that I asked if there was a way to "ignore" a group, such that we would not receive any further invites from them. I don't believe there was a way to do that when I asked.

I know the feeling...I've played in two matches against these guys and played the SAME opponent rated 300 or 400 points higher and got killed 4 straight times...not very fun or educational!
Attention all chess.com admins! I would like to call a boycott against FIVE FOR FIGHTING for sending team matches; basically, I am asking you all to NOT accept any of there team matches request until they start accepting them from us!
FIVE FOR FIGHTING never accepts any group's team match request, but they send out TONS of requests. I want this to stop. I want them to stop sending so many requests and to start accepting some other requests. In ALL of my groups that I am an admin in, they don't accept team matches from any of us, but they send tons of them to us, which is really quite irritating. Thanks you for reading this, and I hope we can together make a change in their society, and the way things work around there! :D
