Click "online chess"
go to the game you want in your archive at the bottom of the page
click "view"
in the game itself click on the "moves" tab
click "download PGN" below the moves
PGN format works with most chess engines

Right. That I understand. But my question is whether I can search the Chess Explorer for a given position...
oh, right then.
as i understand, it's just a database. maybe in the future they'll put a post-game analysis function in, but i can't speak to that. i don't know anything about webpreneuring, but i suspect that a chess engine for post-game analysis might overload the system if enough people use it at once.
Are there some instructions somewhere for the Game Explorer?
I'd like to be able to access a game I've played at a given position and check it out /analyze it against a database of games. I can do that with various engines (Fritz, Chessmaster, etc.), of course, but is there a way to do that via Game Explorer?
When I try to search my games (from the start position) then it only seems to find one or two games. I'm obviously missing something here...
