It was golden, and @Lightning needs to make more or we'll get @B1ZMARK to annoy him.

He just made a similar one a few days ago.

It wasn't as good IMO, probably because I've heard that same argument about stalemate a million times. But I guess it counts, and I hope he makes even more.

I feel like the higher rating you get, the less you can make humor that's not self-deprecating. You, Daniel, B1z, and Lightning all make your best jokes when criticizing your moves or something.

they aren't jokes...

It's just a hot take... but it has some truth to it... you can probably squeeze out 100 points or something.

But yeah, I don't know if people realize... for example Carlsen was over 2700 at age 16. He's in his 30s now. How much has he improved since then? Relatively speaking, not much.

i got to 2300 online when I was around 15, close to 16 basically

I have improved... not at all.

I do believe that Biz's blogs are convoluted

The secret is a lack of proofreading and pretending to have a conversation with someone while writing everything down word for word

alphaous

That does sound like one of your blogs! Hilarious and random.

I do respect the view chasing blogs, it's gotten you a blog of the month, and since you also post recaps, I think it makes you the most well-rounded out of the three. Although Lightning's NCP interrogation was the best recent blog out of you three.

That's a good point about Roger

I would do the whole view chasing blog thing, but I don't like the idea of chess views on here lol

Oh no it's wasn't even 1/10 as good IMO lol but still a little funny I hope

I'll do more questionioning NCPs eventually. The problem is, I'm not very social and I have few friends, so I'll have to talk to strangers to get answers lol

What's your hottest take on chess? Could be about top players or about the game itself.

A hot take is basically just another word for an unpopular opinion.

Ex. Lasker is the GOAT, Stalemate should be removed.

Feel free to debate with others!

3 minute blitz and under are the equivalent of puzzles

a hot take? well if you mean about female players, i think its a good thing not about looks or appearance but that female players are getting more into the game and having fun. the bad side i would say would just be the people with devilish intentions or acting toxic about them even being apart of the game calling them weak or something not nice. chess wise i really enjoy the botez sisters as they are awesome and really have done a good job they deserve it

MisterWindUpBird

Chess community  is full of kind, uplifting folk.

no no, we don't talk about that

i dont judge female players for their appearance but rather love thier kindness and bravery like any other player here who wants to have a good time playing and maybe win a few games. chess is not about laughing at others or judging them based off a face, its about having good moments with each other in a well nice community and chess.com represents that. no doubt i believe that regardless of gender, race, or age chess has brought us all together and thats what matters cause in the end we all help chess get better friends
