If your like me and listen to music while playing chess check out this video and see how long you last before having to stop because it’s to loud. Then let me know.
Not a rickroll.

I don't do that

Any little thing can remove my focus/be used as an excuse

For me, to play my best chess I need to sit alone, with no nothing, no nonesense

Depends on the frequency and amplitude of the music. ie Dance party’s with the higher frequencies played stupidly loud. You can actually feel the cilia(s) in your inner ear being vibrated to death. People tell me I’m always shouting so I guess years of misspent youth has taken its toll (on my hearing among other things haha)

Me watching the video

"That's not how frequency works, it's not playing this song at 20 Hz, and it's not changing the sampling frequency either... oh... ok"

Well I just tried and got to 60ish (not done yet) but my volume isn't full... soo I'll try it again now

I like music, but I like it in the background or enough to drown out the background noise. Just listened to this thing on full volume... let's just say NO
