well, I am FIDE 1708, you are 1777.
OTB I win almost all games with opponents <1800 FIDE in any time control.. so I would rate my chances pretty high :) at least before the match. then I would perhaps have to reconsider :D

I would wonder what the hell I was doing in Slovenia.

@ NathanielGraham, I laughed so hard at that comment I almost choked to death...wow.

macer - say what? MSC is from/in Slovenia.
CP, my and MSC's FIDE ratings are pretty close (about 100 points difference) and i am 14 so I am underrated (MSC is also underrated but for different reasons). Here I don't really try as i play all of my moves instantly. I am rated 1920 in FICS standard as of now.

Is this supposed to be a subtle joke?
This is not a joke. I am rated cca 1700, because I spent all my 2 years with FIDE rating in the national leagues in a weak team, meaning I am playing almost only stronger opponents. Last season I scored about 5/18 and improved my rating! This season is quite better, I played also opponents <1800, winning each game against them (to be honest, I drew 1 with cca1600 National rating). I am 10/17, ELO+22. The rapid games goes along and in blitz you'll never know, few times I have beaten my 2230 buddy. (total score would be like 30-4).
So, back to the topic, I am pretty confident about winning any match against ~1800 FIDE opponents, although I am 1700.
Maybe I could come close to drawing once or twice, but 6-0 is a certainty. I'll check back in a year when I've been playing chess for more than a year:d
Maybe I should add 2 things. I have never play a rated OTB game in my life. My "1777-rating" is based on approximate performance rating I had on my only 2 tournaments I played (as an unrated player). And yes, if you find me unprepared in the opening stage, I should/would most likely lose that games unless I manage to provoke you with suboptimal moves which look promising.
Yeah like I said earlier you would probably defeat me 6-0 but I might have a chance in a KG as white
This is surely an important thing to add. I don't consider chess.com online chess rating relevant to player's strength, so the only additional information was chess.com blitz rating (we are similar) and FIDE rating. If you say that your FIDE rating is also quite irrelevant (and blitz rating is always irrelevant), I have no other information on which I can rely.
Yes, I like to be provoked, I care more about playing interesting and fun game than the result. Also, your tactics rating is quite astonishing, so I probably wouldn't outcalculate you without a blunder on your site.
Sooo, we could either travel few hundreds miles to meet and settle the thing, or write another comments on the internet :) But now I am not so confident about winning the match, 3-3 would be my goal :)
