The Blank:

It is a Scrabble tile that you can use to cover up any squares your pieces are sitting on. Once placed upon that piece, it prevents the troublemaker from moving anywhere. You won't even see it, as The Blank renders your piece invisible!

The Assassin:

Can move one square in any direction and can check mate by itself if it comes within 2 squares of the king.

dennisbir

9*9 chessboard instead, with 2 other pawns + an extra piece between the king and the bishop, the Jester: moves at most two squares in any direction. When capturing pieces, the piece must be 1 square away. The Jester can deliver check through being two squares away, but never checkmate. If the Jester checks the king, the king may not threaten the Jester on his move. The Jester has a cooldown of one turn to check. When captured, if you have less points than your opponent, summon a rook back to the board anywhere in your first two rows of the board. When the Rook is summoned, you cannot move him for one turn. When the rook is summoned, if you summon him on a square where the opponent's Queen, or Rook is capable of taking it, the Rook gains invulnerability for one move from all pieces, with an exception of the Jester and King taking it. If the Rook is summoned in a position that in a normal position would be checking the King, allow the opponent to ignore the check, as the Rook cannot move this turn or the next. If not possible, the Jester's death does nothing.

the up-side-down rook: still a rook. You can get it after promoting.

The Space-Taker: Takes up the queens space and the rooks space.

Those represented as bishops. The bishops in the correct place are just bishops.
