Does anyone know how many moves were there in the game with the most moves played on chess.com?

lol. Lets rephrase the question. How many moves were there in the game you played that had the most moves? It has to be a game on chess.com.

Well, this game is currently 374 moves in... and going. I'm mot sure if one has been longer.

On my thing it says there are only 250  moves. And Black could've finished White off a long time ago...

The moves are only recorded for the first 250 moves, but if you click on "current games" from the "online chess" screen and sort by "# of moves."  it says that the game is up to move 374.

Pawn moves, captures, etc.

This is the game you linked to. All the pawns are off the board before move 100. Why?

Also, it was played from May to September 2008, and is not still going.

The thing is not the fact that they are GMs, but black didn't know how to mate with the knight and bishop.  

306 moves is my record so far, in a random rapid game.

Future things to work on:

1) Need to have more pieces left to reset 50 move rule (play better / bigger advantage faster)

2) Use closer to 50 moves per piece sac

3) Trap opponent king and force-feed him pieces instead of hoping he takes

What not knowing Bishop and Knight Mate does to an MF. it's the hardest checkmate in the game tho, so.
