My suggestion

Ok maybe not the normal type of suggestion, but I think having a little applet on the right that says the local time for your opponent, along with 'time conversion' type of feature.

Basically, I was playing someone who said 'can we carry this on at 2pm' and I can put that time in the applet that will in turn tell me what my local time will be. That way I can quickly answer, rather than trying to work out the time difference depending on daylight savings and such like.

Would be very handy and probably unique to the site Smile

Hmm... that sounds like a good idea. I was playing someone in South Africa last week... and out of nowhere, he goes, "Well, it's getting late. I should go." Now, I don't know what time it was there, but it would have been nice to know so I could relate to what he said.

Yes exactly, and I think it would be interesting to know too by just by looking over at a little box now and then Smile

Yeah fair enough. I realise it will probably be more hassle than its worth. Just thought it would be a good little feature to have a local time displayed for your opponent.

Thanks for having a look and considering it anyway Smile

Google homepage has is an applet which can simultaneously display times of different places in any format you want - just open another window of your browser.
