New puzzle mode?

I've recently updated the app and found that this new "puzzle path" has been added, and while it's amazing (I love the way my rating is still there in the background!), my friend doesn't even see an update in the Play Store, even though he appears on my map at Wood 1.
Is this a slow release or something? Could someone please shed some light on this, because I don't even remember an announcement for this or so.

It should be available to all Android app users if they are on a new enough app version.

Yes. Checked when seeing more posts about it.
Anyone figured out a way to disable this new feature? When it first came up it said you could but I have seen nothing letting me.

At first I was annoyed and now I love it. I'm on Stone level 10. Way too many puzzles now and almost no games.
Sounds cool! Will this be available for online/browser users?

If you have the app then it's running Android. If you don't have the feature yet, make sure you're on the newest app version.
i am on the newest version. i eliminated the app and then reinstall and nothing

It may not be at 100% on the rollout yet.
