What chapters are most beneficial?  To look at in order.

That is a very old book. I think I read it 50+ years ago. I.A. Horowitz wrote many of the chess books that were available in my local library and bookstore when I started playing chess in the mid-70's. I remember liking them.

Something about how you can use the point count methodology developed for the card game bridge to help you assess your chess game.

Who do you think has read it often enough to have formed such an opinion on which chapters are most beneficial?

Why don't you read it from front to back the first time and tell us how it goes?

I found a copy and read the first few chapters. It is a fun book that makes a lot of sense. It sort of anticipates the works of people like Jeremy Silman, in that you are trying to identify the pluses and minuses of your position.

I think you would need to start at the beginning to understand their concepts.
