Looks good.

I second TheGrobe's suggestion of being able to save annotations (notes) to the games as you're going along with move marcations - that would be amazing as I think I'd actually have a chance of learning from my mistakes that way.

i like it just as it is now, thanks for asking the players....i'm "old school"

 Just thinking out loud, kissinger?

W.R.T. to the mock-ups: I think this collaboration is definately converging on the closest thing to a win-win situation - but of course not all will be pleased (you can never please everyone).

That praise being said, I agree with the move-mark on comments (auto-annotation-esque) and the default landing on the Move tab, with any new messages being indicated visually on the Message tab or non-intrusively elsewhere. Oh... and the "Draw offered" indicated on the move list is also a great idea.

I like the big green submit button at the moment

erik, the idea on the 1st proposed layout seems to be more simplified and more functional in my own point of view..

Can you do a mockup similar to the first proposal, but with the moves list and buttons on the bottom, and showing the messages block on the top?  I think it is the contents of the "details" tab that made it look so busy.

Nice, I like it, as well.

The new one looks much better. Possibly even better than the current one.

Thanks for the reply.

But Pandora is still not available to Canada as likely to many other countries, it's a shame but some things in many countries are only for priviliged people livimg in the country.

As far as last.fm there is no selection that meets my needs.

Hey, that's life!

well if someone dedicated to providing free music on the internet can't bring it to you, chess.com certainly isn't going to succeed where they failed... :D

Hmm . . . I like it a lot. I like to review my notes after a game and the notes are numbered by the move I was thinking about. It kind of drives me crazy to have to go back and forth between notes and moves, so I like this a lot :)

Why not make it customizable like websites such as Facebook and the BBC. You can move boxes around to your liking! :) Asking for too much?

Off topic I know, but I thought I'd ask while Erik is around. How come if you are out of a tournament but that tournament is still going, does it still appear in "my current tournaments"? And can you get rid of them?

About certain things in this world such as Bill Gates control over the operating system no1 in the world and the control or expansion of Pandora to other countries, other than USA.

Actually yes Chess.com can bring it to me and others, just ask Erik for an honest opinion, he has other priorities but he could do it.

Too much time consuming in programming likely and I fully understand.

Your logic simply has no logic, how old are you ?

and you wonder why i don't respond to your posts.

pretty simple - it's a tournament you are involved in and it hasn't finished yet. :) from a database standpoint it's much trickier to determine the individual status of players than it is to determine status of tournaments.

so it would be hard to make a function to withdraw, even though you know you're out? It's not a big deal anyway, and not really a request as such, just wondering. Obviously I think it would be good, but i can see you have more important issues going on. Good work by the way. Love the site!
