I've reported three members in the past two days. One is already gone, one may soon be muted, and the third (I hope) will be gone, too.

Now I know why you have been bullying checker players in that other forum. Bullies are just cowards. Don’t know why chess players like to bully checker players and if you are a chess player who also plays chess then it’s like asking to have your eyes poked out and asking to be made fun of.
Discrimination and bullying can never be good.
If you are a checker player who also plays chess come then join the club full of us. We are approaching 300 members now. A club which tolerates differences and there is NO bullying.
And if you don’t play checkers that’s fine also. We play chess as well and have joined a couple of leagues (because clubs thought we were a joke) and are doing really well.

There goes my first reason in action.
You see how humans sometimes go annoying and keep trolling? I use the block and report features on spammers, trolls, bullies, and report them in a way, i get a response from staff, that the accounts are banned. I think i never got bullied after playing a game.. but once was, in some chat. SEE? Human Chat! Primary reason why i stick to a handful of friends here. Love playing the Bots.
Always keep in mind, you've got a great team of staff on chess.com, who takes care of abuse. Be proud to get bullied, those idiots are just harming themselves lol. They dont have brains, they dont know a copy of the bullying is saved in the victim's account for verification.

I find this very strange. I've been playing on this site for 3 years and I only encountered bullies 2 or 3 times. How is it others seem to always get them?

Look, there is difference between, teasing, annoying, and bullying
If you jokingly tease someone once or twice its fine, and you can annoy people by say things too. But when you start repeatedly teasing someone (unless its like an inside joke), or annoying someone purposely again and again, it becomes bullying.
