If they don't like it they shouldn't. Very intelligent people sometimes play chess because they like it and find it interesting. Also, you can win money or get money from teaching if you're good enough.

Claiming that we are of superior intelligence because we are good at chess while artificial intelligences (no brains) can beat any humans, it makes fake news is obvious.
Rather used to make " I'm right the earth is flat and you can trust me because I am of a superior intelligence to you " is the IQ test.
So I suggest that the complexed, narcissistic, egocentric, (...) spend their time in IQ tests and will claim they are of superior intelligence because they are good in test IQ because like this at least fake news will be less obvious.

Yeah, with that attitude we don't want you to be one either. You are not in the 95th percentile my guy, and you probably suck. If you wanna quit this game, just quit, but no one is impressed coz imma be honest, even though I myself am under 1000, you are trash, I will get over that level one day, but you won't coz your a no good loser
As much as I hate his arrogance, he's shown what is clearly wrong with the chess community. People still conflate chess skill with intelligence. His 95% figure is about his intelligence, and I have no reason to doubt it.

Chess community has always been toxic about chess skill and intelligence. The Dunning Kruger, especially in trashcans who have transitioned into the low 2000s from the 1000 bracket, is in full force. Fortunately all this wave making chess so popular on Twitch etc. has clearly shown that even the highest elo players are as "stupid" or "intelligent" as the average joe (for example, Nakamura).
But this happens in a lot of other communities as well. Have you ever played Dota 2 or any other MOBA? It was a common theme there the worse you are at them, the lower your IQ is, to the point some speculate if you are bad at the videogame your IQ score is probably lower than 85. xD
