I reread this thread and in particular studied this post. Half of it seems good. Derailing or changing the topic’s discussion is bad for a topic. But negative comments? Most discussions reach enlightenment through argument. If everyone agreed, there might not be a point to the topic in the first place. True, no one likes to read or listen to negative comments, but we would all get bored if everything was positive. We need adversity to grow or enrich our thoughts and lives. So I welcome trolls in a discussion as long as they stay on topic.
