This is really ridiculous.
This is really unfair! Move did not reach the server and then I lose the game due to abandonment??

It just happened again.. Was waiting for my opponent to make a move while his clock was running and then suddenly I lost due to abandonment. I've lost about 40 ratings points in Blitz.
I should seriously consider quitting Chess.com. This is a waste of my time.

Something similar happened to me a while back. It was a 30|0 tournament, I played my first move and waited more than 10 minutes for my opponent to make his. After waiting I decided to quickly switch over to another app to check some messages only to come back and see we had drawn by agreement.
If I had lost by abandonment that might have made a bit of sense but to see we had drawn by agreement?? That's just crazy.

You got disconnected and then lost by abandonment when it didn't reconnect in time.
