So says the bio on the home page...but there is no point to the initial request. Everyone starts out at 1200 and goes up/down based on results. If your results against people rated 1400 are about 50/50, you'll settle down to about that. There is no point in going after people rated 700 points higher unless you are waiting for someone to time out due to a stroke or something.
No actually the only reason I'm this low is because I timed out if I hadn't I'd probably be up to 1700 already. Look at my game against gabrielconroy. I've drawn 2000 rated players in real life too ya know. The main reason I'm doing this is to get better. if I wanted them to time out why would I put 5 days per move....
