Nothing beats fresh basil in Vietnamese Pho.
What I Would Do As Mod
I love pho, especially when I have a cold. Its like liquid crack.
I know, huh? When I lived in Honolulu, you could get it from any of a dozen places walkable from the apartment. There was one place that made their own broth by boiling the beef bones overnight.
I try to avoid using too much basil myself because really, you can use it on anything, and you don't notice it anymore. I like to throw a little mint on a greasy pizza, helps to give a cleaner taste to it. You can grow mint yourself too, though its a bit trickier than basil.
Where I used to live, I planted some spearmint. I grew into the yard, and I could smell it everytime I cut the grass.
The best Pho place in Chicago is walkable from my apartment, but unfortunately the walk is only pleasant in summer, when the targeted foodstuff is effectively useless
Oh, he'll be back, I guarantee that, my friends.

It was getting beyond creepy.
Take Note: In post-game analysis, it would appear that the innovative herbs and spices tactic trumps the heretofore favored waffle and pancake tactic. Both approaches have leveraged illustrated support.
Let's consider adding this bolt to our quiver, shall we?

As I've said, pho is an excellent way to get rid of phlegm.
