What would it take to finally push you over the edge?

I haven't paid for premium membership because it would make me spend more time to justify the money.
I shouldn't be spending anymore time here because I am a college student, and need to spend more time doing school work. When I have a real job, I will be spending less time on chess.com than I do now.
But I will continue using this site casually, and sometime when I can afford it, I'll buy a lifetime membership.

Political and religious discussions are not allowed. Should economics be added to the list of banned topics?
To push me over the edge it would take me getting a job. Right now I am pretty much broke, and have about 30-50$ a month for fun (including eating out/getting coffee). So until that happens I probably won't be joining the site.
The tactics trainer and the minimal cost are the main reasons why I would be joining, for 10 cents a day or whatever it is all the bonuses really are worth it. I might ask for christmas for someone to get me a membership.
when I hit 1200 in blitz i will be buying a silver membership, 1400 gold (if i hit 1400) and 1600 platinum (this will probably never happen)

I say bump the man up....Or do you think that type of behavior would be "erogenous"?
For me it was the Stats and the Game Explorer that pushed me over to grab the gold membership. The Tactics Trainer also had some bearing. I was disappointed to find out later that the stats aren't yet up and running for live chess games. Overall though, I am not unhappy with the purchase.
