@idilis is a nobody, at best a jerk, and should be removed from that list.
@batgirl was amazing - educating the community with Chess history, while adding humor to the forums and even being a mod for a while.
I wouldn't count mods since it's something they signed up for. It's a tough and thankless job but should not count toward the list as they are everywhere by design.
@elroch, @diogenesdue, @ziryab seek to educate the community in their own ways. Though they may rub some with differing beliefs the wrong way.
@alczervik has been tirelessly, thanklessly fighting the good fight to improve and hold the site accountable. Don't see him succeeding though. God used to walk with men. But now even the angels are unreachable. All that's left are the apologists. That's @erik, staff and mods for you plebs.
Anyway I thank these folks.
Haven't mentioned the actual chess consultants who volunteer their time for us lesser mortals.
Then there are also those who bring joy. But I'll leave these for another day.

What format do you suggest though? There are certainly names on the list that I think don't belong there (and some that I think should be added there that haven't been named), but if I get rid of all of the other people's votes I disagree with, it would kind of just be like another list based on someone's opinion. I thought that simply keeping track of the votes was the best way to do it. But if you have a different format that you think is better, I'll consider changing it.
Regarding your post before this one, I wouldn't necessarily say @Kyu13 is unpopular in the chess.com community. He has nearly 8,000 followers, over 10,000 points, and 35,000 views. On top of that he's written a decent number of blogs and owns a 4,500-member club.
