Myself and a couple of friends was chatting and we came to the conclusion that a great many people love Yorkshire Puddings.

We also tried to think of anyone who don't like them but we couldn't think of anyone ...

SO the question i am bringing to you the general population of chess.com is :

Do you love them or hate them??

Yorkshire puddings are the best! Toad-in-the-hole is better, because you've got the sausage too. All good. :-D

Yep, I too have never tried it that I know of.  If I ever see it on the menu I will.  Looks like what us Americans call a biscuit (which is not a cookie, despite you Brits confusing the issue!) but from the picture I can not determine the ingredients.  But I am with Tex.....  send me some!

Honestly, I've never heard of them before.

beat together eggs and milk add flour and bake in a hot oven ... its made with the same ingredients as pancakes

St Alfonzo's pancake breakfast, where I stole the margerine...........  sorry could not help myself......  Pancakes I do like, so count me in the yes column.  I have heard of it many times as it is often refered to in my Brit lit.....  just did not know what it was.......

You Brits!  You call cookies biscuits and funny looking pancakes are called pudding!  What do you call the dessert we Americans call pudding? (please don't say steak!)  And for that matter, I always wondered how come you guys drive on the wrong side of the road?Laughing  Thanks in advance from a curious American......

lol i call a pudding "afters" as it comes after ur dinner

but i am willing to say that if i walked into a US chippy and asked for a chip muffin i will get some kind of chocolate chip cake Undecided

LOL....  But we do speak it with colorful flair!  While we are at it.....  how did you guys come to call cigarettes a derogatory term for gay men?  Also, why did Yankee Doodle call his feather macaroni?  I know you guys came up with the song to taunt Americans (although history showed how well that worked).  We Americans having a fine sense of humor, decided to adopt the strange tune as a battle cry for the sake of irony when we uh-h... mmm...... gently encouraged you guys back to your side of the pond.

I think it is something to do with the gold braid and so on worn by high ranking British officers. That was called macaroni for some reason. I always found it amusing that we Brits managed to win most of the battles but still managed to lose the war.

I always wondered that too.....  we had better chess players as leaders I suppose, they knew the value of a fine gambit....lol
