I really enjoyed the section on corresponding squares in Dvoretsky's endgame manual. Does anyone know of another book that has a significant amount of material dedicated to it? Thank you in advance.
The problem is that although fascinating corresponding squares is of little practical use. There is a famous work by Marcel Duchamp L'opposition et cases conjuguées sont réconciliées (Opposition and Sister Squares are Reconciled). Pawn Endings by Averbakh and Maizelis has a chapter on the development of the theory of co-ordinate squares which runs 42 pages.
