Adi’s Chess Journey — From 600 to 1000 in Just 70 Days

Meet Adi, 12, from the United States — a young player diving deep into chess.
When he started, his Chess.com Rapid rating was 613.
After about ten weeks, he climbed to nearly 1000, gaining close to 400 points.
Now the next goal sits at 1200+, expected within two months —
and it’s not some far-off dream anymore.

Adi’s training plan:
• Around 60 minutes of focused work each day (sometimes two hours on weekends)
• Focus on strategies, endgames, and piece coordination
Frequent breakdowns of his own games with quick tips to fix issues
• Competing in OTB tournaments, starting to win consistently

This kind of progress isn’t about shortcuts —
it’s built on steady effort, smart organization, and a clear roadmap.
Adi’s results show how fast real improvement comes
when practice is consistent, thoughtful, and intentional.
