the first game is really tricky you had to see that the pin wasnt any good and you cant take the bishop ive run into that problem at your rating too you just have to learn to be weary of the knight jumping in and exploiting the pin on the knight
Yeah I looked at both games just now. I seemed to be unaware of the knight jumping in to exploit the bishop pin for both games. Should have been aware of it and developed the e6 pawn to open up the e6 square, such that I can develop my bishop to d6 to defend against the bishop and knight jump-in square and prepare to castle king side during the first game. Castling queen side in most situations such as this one was a positional mistake I guess.
I have been plateauing nowadays, and can no longer develop an advantage early on despite doing a ton of chess puzzles. I often feel pressure early on these days. Here are the games below. They were two awful games in a row and I played really badly (It's rare for me to score such low accuracy), but I don't really know what's my main weak points that are causing them. Is it positioning? Is it tactic? Is it something else?
