Counter the scholars mate

I am a beginner with a rating just around 1000 in Blitz. Even at that level, I find it slightly insulting that opponents think I would fall for scholars mate.

So I found that sequence of moves, which in about half the cases wins their queen. Of the rest of the games, I win around two thirds, after defending hard through the middle game, as the position is of course not a good one, and light squares are very weak. But I have some compensation due to them being startled that my king escapes (duh), and wasting a long time on the next move, whereas I know the sequence and can move quickly.

I know this is not good chess, but it is fun nevertheless😁

I must add that I am aware that this can only be played at low level and short time controls. After 3...d6 the evaluation is around +2.4
