Daily games and their analysis mode

Hello,
I have started to play daily games and I have noticed that in this rhythm there is the possibility to use analysis(of course without engine) and what I find more strange, an opening explorer. I guess that if it is there, it is allowed to use it, is it so?

Yes, it is allowed in daily.
ICCF even allows engine analysis in correspondence games.
Books are allowed, database also. No engine. No asking a friend, coach or someone else.
In a way Daily is the hardest form of chess. There are no opening tricks. And there is no time trouble to exploit. The only way to win is by actually playing chess.
What I find funny is all the blitz-playing people claiming using a database is not using your own brain, while they play the same theory, it is just that they memorized it. How are you using your own brain any more there? You just repeat the moves you memorized that someone else figured out for you.
IMHO daily is the closest to real chess there is or ever will be online. Everything else is speed chess that mostly kids like.
