I understand that your target audience is 7 year olds, given that only a 7 year old would pay for coaching from a 2000 rated player, but you underestimate there intelligence, as even a 7 year old could tell that this "feedback" is copied and pasted and that you told them to say such things.

Why would they say anything at all if they don't like the lessons?

Because thats what feedback is for, to share your opinion. If one sees only positive reviews then its not a accurate representation of his service (which I know is bad cos hes only 2000)

A 2000 can teach a lot of things, especially if you're say 1000. One doesn't have to be a GM to be a good teacher.

They cant teach a lot.

Maybe not to you, but they sure know a whole lot more about chess than a 1000.

Good morning. Two things:

1. I have been taking lessons from Dino for several months and find him to be competent, helpful, patient, and able to teach extremely well to my personal needs. I always look forward to my weekly lessons.

2. The idea that a 2000 rated player is unqualified to teach seems absurd to me. An experienced coach can certainly have much to offer students rated up to his ability level. If an individual desires a rated player player for a coach, that just seems like a respectable, personal preference.

You aren't selling the claim that he'a a good coach by the fact he has coached you for months and you are still 700

I want to express my gratitude to my students for their thoughtful reviews and to others for the amusing comments.

1. Coaches with a 2000 rating have likely been playing chess for many years and have accumulated a wealth of experience. They can share their insights and strategies with beginners, helping them develop their chess skills faster.

2. Improvement in any skill, including chess, requires consistent practice. If a player isn't putting in the necessary hours outside of coaching sessions, progress will be limited.

3. Some of the comments have been copy/pasted, because I asked my students to share their thoughts on three different links. They originally composed their comments on one link and then copy/pasted them across the other two.

Why did you ask them to post these on two separate links then?

I mean, if you were going to quote him, why not just answer there instead of putting in extra and completely unnecessary effort into editing, AND quoting?

I realized that my initial comment was incomplete, so I thought it would be wise to provide all the answers in a single location. I quoted him to ensure he would notice and review my revised comment.
