Stop falling for these queen attacks!!! here is something to take a look at beginners. Even if the queen dodges the knight fork and gets to safety on g3, you still win a rook with a fork. This stops the queen attack for me every time!! Now I'm begging to see people go Qh5 to punish them for moving the queen so early! Don't be scared anymore, the Wayward Queen Attack is all bark no bite!
Try learning the London System, it is great for developing and attacking the center. If you know it well enough you can learn some tricks that are hidden within the London.

This is terrible advice.
Studying openings is probably the most useless thing you can do as a beginner. There are many areas that are much more rewarding. Simple tactics. Simple endgames. Middlegame concepts, More tactics.
-You have to do good at the openings Don't use your queen too much.
-And you have to have the center !
