In your last 5 games you resigned prematurely in 3 of them, play longer time controls 10 minutes into quick

Just keep practicing, you learn by losing!

You've only played about 20 games, so you haven't settled into your true rating yet. Once you do, you'll start to get matched with opponent's on your level.

Life has ups and downs.

They're right, just keep playing and you'll begin to get more acclimated and settled into your rating. Don't worry about winning or losing, try to focus more on developing your gameplay. Tackle some puzzles and try playing at longer time formats like 15mins. You can do it!

Yeah It does take a bit of time to settle into a true win

Hi! My name is Lauren Goodkind and I’m a chess coach  based in California.

Sorry to hear about you loosing a lot!  Everybody has to lose.   It's not fun to lose (I don't like to lose too), but I would suggest to try to learn from your loses. That way, that's a good way to get better.

I have some tips for you to get better, so hopefully your losing streak will end:

I also offer a  free beginner’s free eBook on my website, www.ChessByLauren.com in case you are interested.

Before each move, I highly encourage you ask questions before every move such as, “If I move here, is it safe?”, “Can I safely capture a piece?”, and more.

Also consider all checks and captures on your side and also your opponent’s side.

Learn basic tactics such as the fork, discovered attack, pin, and more.  I offer interactive puzzles on my website: https://www.chessbylauren.com/two-choice-puzzles.php

If you are serious about chess, I highly recommend you hiring a chess coach to help you.

I hope that this helps.

You should analyze your games, to see what mistakes you made, how to fix, or maybe even get an advantage out of it.

EVERYONE gets a loss, Losses are just learning.

Losses are the best point to learn, because you will learn a mistake you cannot do.

Like the lady ontop, Before each move, ask questions. It will help you.

Also, focus on the inside, not the outside.

There might be a queen, but maybe there might be a rook waiting for that sneaky sacrifice, and maybe even leading in a checkmate, who knows!!!!

I hope you get better at the game.

We all go through it, some more so than others.

All of your pieces should develop safely, and if beginners (that know how to castle) are reading this... You should ALWAYS castle until you feel safe leaving that strategy behind.
