As a knight enthusiast I can confirm that they are superior to bishops
Knights
well i lose almost all my games when ism under 30 moves to fork knight play getting my queen or king in to jeopardy alway losing a rook sometimes a bishop -- can never defend against when the come down the board and attack --- but then i can never do it to them -- when i try i always lose both pieces -- so depressing

Eeeeeeeh okay.
I just notice people seem to love to handle me the bishop pair, while they keep a pair of knights.

As a beginner myself and someone who has been playing every day for the last few years knights are definitely extremely powerful and should not be underestimated.
If an enemy knight is across the border and in your territory or worse in the same quadrant as your king then you know something heavy is about to go down and need to do something about it. Conversely, I've won games where my opponent was so distracted with advancing their knight to win a free rook I was busy setting up a queen/bishop checkmate in reply.
Don't be intimidated by knights though. When you know what they can do you know what they can't do. If your opponent invades your camp with a knight but can't take anything more than a pawn or two while you're busy setting up something far more substantial...happy days!
Moral of the story - remember the pieces can move in all directions and knights can be exceptionally cunning. If they are hanging around your queen it's probably not to go dancing.

The Bishops are considered better.
Depends upon the position.
On an open board, yes. Bishops can attack from the distance and can be active at both sides of the board.

Bishops are Divine & Holy.
Knights smell and are redundant at times.
————————————
Having the Bishop Pair is considered advantageous.
Having the Knight Pair is considered sad.
—————————
The Bishop Pin is mightier vs. the Knight’s Sword, Fork, Spoon, and any other worthless Utensil the Knight can muster.
—————————
The Bishop’s are also placed next to King & Queen because they have more prestige vs. Knight which is placed near a Rook.
Practically, the Knight is an outcast which is not even necessary.

And the most important fact!
You can Checkmate with 2 Bishops, but not with 2 Knights unless your opponent messes up.
2 Knights are like insufficient material.

Bishops are Divine & Holy.
Knights smell and are redundant at times.

Talking such nonsense is bad enough. Talking such nonsense in the "Beginners" section is just criminal. Some of the beginners might believe you. How would you live with that? Just fine, I guess.

I hope they do believe me!
Then Chess Progress will finally have been made.
I will live my Life knowing I have transformed Chess Noobs into Chess Pros.

Do you wish to know what’s Criminal?
Denying Reality and believing Knights are better vs. Bishops.
No one cares about the Knight Pair!
It’s the Bishop Pair that determines who has an advantage or not in the majority of games.
The Knight is an intricate piece with a nemesis, the bishop, and an archrivalry with the Queen. The Knight is often used as a forking piece and is probably the least valuable piece, except for the pawn, though it is sometimes used as a forking underpromotion piece to gain material.
