Stafford Gambit?

As a can't get out of the 800s so far player I probably don't have any business considering any kind of gambit but this looks like something to try as a black opening to get on offense fast rather than counterpunch.  It also looks like something a decent player/opponent will recognize immediately and you'll lose if you can't adapt away from it pretty quick?

Try any openings that look interesting to you. Even if you don’t stick with it you will probably learn something from playing it. As far as gambits go I would say they are the best kind of openings to learn for someone in the 800s.

at your rating anything flies but be warned that the Stafford gambit isn't a good opening, you won't get anything out of it at higher ratings i.e even just 1200 (I had Englund and Stafford gambits refutation memorized by that point)
