Two Knights vs Pawn

I was wondering whether this drill is for beginner, intermediate or advanced players - https://www.chess.com/drills/practice/two-knights-vs-pawn. It is very hard to me. Is there any method to solve this drill? Please help.

Well. It is insanely hard. Queen vs rook is easy compared to it. I have managed to master QvR for week, and this one for 1 month.

There are 3 steps:

  1. Blockade pawn with knight! And never capture it!
  2. Force king in corner.
  3. Checkmate.

Now more details below.

I found (not ideal) but often working technique - forcing black king slowly on larger circles on board, and then push him to the corner. Then deliver mate.

Step 1. Make knight protecting each other. Then invade center (d4,d5,e4,e5) with your king.
If enemy king is not in center, skip this step.

Step 2. Force enemy from first ring (ring highlighted with pawns):

This is usually achieved with this pattern:

Now you the hardest step - force king outside the second ring:

The technique is:
Get the king to the any corner, pawn on 6th rank is an exception (there are only two corners where you can mate.).
And then use two knight to force king into edge of board.

Now your king is in corner. Now in this comfortable position in the corner square (I just get king in front and maneuver knight to claim more squares. Then move second knight off pawn. And trap king in corner on next move (so king is stalemated, but pawn can still move). Now, since king in corner, and you have 2 knights, and stalemate is impossible (due to pawn) - Finish the king with your second knight! And go off with bacon and smile. I will post some tasks about mate.
