In a tournament game, Male Player (White) vs. Female Player (Black)

White has a mate in 1, and Black sees it. Black makes her only legal move and cringes, getting ready for the mate. However, instead of a mate, he knocks over his King. "I resign."

The Female Player, exuberant but horrified at the same time, said, "b-b-but...Queen gee-seven mate...you had me there!"

The Male Player simply replied, "I do not wish to mate you; rather, I would love to mate with you. Will you come eat dinner with me tonight?"

This would be so awesome (and nerdish) as a FB page.
