It's a team game: you need two sets of chess. You're sitting next to each other and in each team you have: one white and one black set.
You're playing against your enemy, but there is no need to play simultaneously. So if you and your opponent are in round #4 and the other two are in round #12, that's ok.
Everytime you "kick" your opponents figure you hand it over to your partner. He/She is allowed to place the figure anywhere on her set (except in positions enabling check or checkmate). The placing counts as a movement, so that either she/he can move a figure or place one.
The game is ended if both players of one team are checkmate. This can get extremely funny as you sometimes may be checkmate but will get a figure later and win back :).
I got it first to know while waiting at a tournament several years ago (in my active time). We had a few hours to waste and chatted with players from all over Germany. Some girls told us the game and we enjoyed our waiting time with it :)
Maybe some people know this game already.

Playing style: quick and dirty! :)
