 I've never tried that strategy before. I wonder, is removing your opponent's limbs against FIDE regulations? It would be great if any experienced OTB players could give some insight into whether this strategy is legal.

Don't take it too literally. The video is very funny and reminds me of few games where I was a queen and a couple of other pieces up and my opponent still offered draw.
