I lost a tempo playing Bf5-h7-xd3 over the other game just being Bf5-xd3

And he lost a tempo playing Be2-d3 over just Bd3

Me because I am a studious player who studies my opponents and learns from the mistakes of others as well as myself. Yeah, I can be serious about improving in lots of things - not just chess grin.png

also the way the game went actually made sense in the 2100 game but the game I played was so awkward lol

I generally think the game with the 2100s was higher quality

Also, cool observation @rychessmaster1 - it isn't as rare as it seems though. Statistically, so many games played will offer transposition; what interests me more here is that this position is not so common (although logical to say the least).
