Or then again it could be: Good God, do you even know how to play this game ?
Or Good Going, you had enough sense at last to resign !

g is not especially alliterative [if that's not a word, too bad.]
Thanks for the posts.
Another question that might be asked is if another player says GG at the end of a game that I lost are they trying to needle me ? I mean if I played a good game why didn't I win ?
Pretty sure it's a Roman numeral representing the number 42. Saying 42 after a game was considered good sportsmanship. However, when chiseled into stone and thrown at the opponent, it was understood as sarcasm.
Thanks for the info MyCowsCanFly, sort of like throwing shoes at someone in the Middle East I guess.
cabadenwurt next time just type an unknown abbreviation or acronymn into a search engine (followed by "definition" won't hurt) and you'll probably get the correct answer minus all of the trolling replies and incorrect answers, almost immediately
It means "Good Game" BTW
In one of the threads here someone just asked: what does GG mean ? I mean does it refer to Good Game ?
Or it might mean Good Grief ? ( as in Good Grief Charlie Brown are you ever bad, as in my case ).
