On the GG front if I was still over in the Black Forest I could say GG equals Guter Gewinn ( good win ). Mind you in relation to business activities Gewinn would also represent profit or gain ( or perhaps I gained a win ).

At my age Gotta Go takes on a whole different meaning. Also when you visit a strange place check for the location of the nearest bathroom first thing.

gg definitely means good game. Started with Starcraft I'm pretty sure, but regardless began with the online gaming community.

In my case I am well known as a notorious procrastinator so it could also mean Get Going !

Well I really like GGCB ( as said earlier: Good Grief Charlie Brown ), mind you I probably felt like saying something much stronger at the time.   

An analogy:

I play chess like Charlie Brown kicks footballs.
