Hey cabby, now that you've taken a snide pill or two, can you pass the bottle over to Nimzo?

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a pre-frontal lobotomy STEVE MARTIN

If it's a bottle of whisky I accept! If it's a bottle of Iron City Beer I decline

Besides which, to get a bottle of it you'll probably have to get dangerously close to Pittsburgh.

Conquistador

Don't worry, Philly has a surplus and they never run out.  Or you could just stop a Uper.

I certainly hope so - there should be federal regulations against exporting such swill out of the state (if there aren't already)

Thanks for the new posts.

On the GG front if I was still over in the Black Forest I could say GG equals Guter Gewinn ( good win ). Mind you in relation to business activities Gewinn would also represent profit or gain ( or perhaps I gained a win ). Smile

Ah thanks cab, for making me think of another GG:

gg - means gotta go after they beat you and move on to the next victim.

Not good game, just joking. But they do have to go.

Thanks for the recent posts.

At my age Gotta Go takes on a whole different meaning. Also when you visit a strange place check for the location of the nearest bathroom first thing.

joineric

gg definitely means good game. Started with Starcraft I'm pretty sure, but regardless began with the online gaming community.

In my case I am well known as a notorious procrastinator so it could also mean Get Going ! Laughing

Edit: Get Goin' was mentioned on the previous page.

Wow, "Good Game, Miss Molly"--I like that!

OldHastonian

It used to be a horse where I came from...

Dischyzer

Well I really like GGCB ( as said earlier: Good Grief Charlie Brown ), mind you I probably felt like saying something much stronger at the time. Sealed

An analogy:

I play chess like Charlie Brown kicks footballs.

Thanks for the post Dischyzer. Yes playing Chess is a uphill battle but then it's all in fun ( at least I'm not trying to make a living at it ).
